Can I pressure was my engine and engine bay, any areas to avoid should I leave engine running?

Are Axle breather pipes standard I have one on each axle running along the axle and up under body cable tied on, if yes do I need to extend them for deep wading?

Cheers

it helps if yu say wot injun yu got. - if its a petrol you will need to waterproof the electrics as much as poss, dry afterwards and wd40. I had my 2.5petrol pressure washed ok - a doozil shud be no probs.
if yu got breather extensions - it depends how long they are - normally they are extended into injun bay and up a snork.

Oh, pressure wasH. Be careful of the front of the engine, the aircon and fan tensioner bearings don't like water on the Tdi's and the TD5.

Pressure washers can push water into electrical terminals and plugs and cause all sorts of shorts.

Do it at your own peril

Good quality cleaner and a good stiff brush is best way, wouldn't try to get all oil and grease off, it does some good.
