Question for 200 TDI owners

A mate wants to buy one and hopefully going to look at one later on with him, just wondered if there's anything specific to look out for apart from the usual rot issues?, I've had a couple of RR Classics before so I guess they should drive pretty similar, also do the 200s have the strange heater system that the Classics do?, where you can only get the air to come out of the top vents and the ones that are in the dash are only for the AC if it's even fitted?.

nope 200 discos int got same vents as RRC.

Damn, I was hoping to have a laugh to myself as he shivered all the way home with a hot windscreen and a cold car.

The vents have changed but they do have a similar heaters so he could still be coolish
