The PO had installed BMW seats in the LR110 which made the seating position high. I decided to install original seats and for the most part it was an easy job. The only question that I have is where to attach them. I'm not sure that they are attached correctly. Is there how they go or am I missing something? I've searched several posts but cannot get a clear picture. Any help would be appreciated.

The response to this thread has been overwhelming but I’m still not sure that I’ve got it quite right. Does anyone have a picture that show the correct way front seats are mounted? Thanks.

Calm down. The way they are attached is correct, there's two holes at the front and two holes at the rear that the seats bolt into. That's it. You should have spacers between the seat box and the seat though to raise it up a little. Either buy some proper ones or just use a stack of washers. The spacers are probably about 2cm tall

depending on age, they either have one bolt each end or two, older being two.

looks alright to me. make sure the backplate where the nut is has a washer or something to spread the load though.

Now that I've calmed down :hysterically_laughi I wanted to thank everyone for the help. Cheers!
