Hi there,

Recently converted my TD5 to a soft top :) (how could I not with such weather recently?!) , and now I have the hardtop, headlining, window trim etc from its former station wagon self.

Trying to sell them on eBay, but i have no clue what these things should be fetching. I am receiving quite a few offers but am just letting the auctions run right now.

Just wondering what price ranges I should be looking at for: (all in used but v good condition)
- Side panels & hardtop (metalic green original paint) (SW edition)
- Grey original headlining (3 piece set)
- Interior Window trim side & rear set.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Never anticipated anything from my landy :))) so never looked at the value of these things before.

Thanks,

a happy soft top landy owner :)

At the very least 1 of these

Ultimately eBay is an auction site so what its worth is what the winning bidder bids, don't accept offers as they are normally cheeky offers, just let it run

That was my plan cause I don't know any better, just would like to get a fair price for them.
Some dudes just offered me £280 for a genuine defender roof rack. Again, not a clue if thats fair or not.

Am I missing a joke here? It feels like I'm missing a joke. Typical really

No joke - this forum gets loads of so called enquiries from people who only come on here with a fake 'how much is this worth'
in the hope that someone may buy.
To sell on here you need a minimum number of posts - 50 I believe.
You may be genuine but as I say its common practice on here, people join contribute zilch and look to flog stuff.
Pity you didn't register before doing your conversion, would have made interesting reading finding out how you went about it.

You are very naughty as you've just joined today. If they're genuine CSW sides with original panels then they are much sort after. Spammer.

I semi documented the process as what I found online was lacking in specifics on how todo. That might make an interesting read but IDK, would people want to read that?

Honestly have no intention of selling here, in fact I wouldn't be able to as I have no clue what to sell them for LOL. Hence this post. I do apologise if this post is out of place. I did do a thorough google and just couldn't find a good idea of their value. Would you suggest this post is better placed elsewhere then?

Genuine and original yes, owned the landy from new :)
Like how "sort after" is sort after. £200? £500? £1000 IDK.
And yeh I realise after reading iancorkys post that this might be seen as spam. Apologies and hopefully I can contribute & prove you wrong ;)

TBH I'm not sure what the current trend is. There seems to be a lot of people converting to rag tops. 15 years ago everyone was putting aftermarket windows in to van side Landies and were trying to sell them as genuine CSW's. Market might be flooded with windowed CSW sides at the moment by people like you going RT

Hmm interesting thanks for the info. In my search I couldn't find any used ones for sale but I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I'll report back when/if they sell at auction.

I can imagine, this beautiful english summer is what got me to make the change. will be interesting to see how i fair in winter.....

Big wooly hat, big gloves, fluffy scarf, ski jacket, salopettes, thermal socks, hiking boots and an in cab diesel heater and you'll survive. Invest the money you get for the parts on ya thermal gear.:)

It’s less about getting as much money as possible more what sum you’d be happy with. If someone makes an offer you like the sound of take it.
