I have a 2000 xreg ES with elec heated seats which work fine (i think)
my question is should the head restraints raist up and down electrically?
There is a button which has a 4way functionallity with will recline or raise the back of the seat. but also from the arrows on teh switch has an up n down on it (which i thought maybe for the head restraints) but it doesnt seem to do anythign.. is this normal or is something not working?

Thanks

Grant

if it's the same as my '98 ES the up and down only moves the back of the seat squab up and down.. a little dissapointing as other lecky seats do the front as well meaning you get more say in how to sit.. but TBH it's a pretty comfy seat anyway and if you'd bought the motor for the seats you'd probably have gone for a merc anyway not a landrover...

Electric seats have ten electrical and two manual adjustments.

Electrical.
Seat, backwards/forwards.
Seat cushion angle, up/down at the front.
Seat cushion angle, up/down at the rear.
Seat cushion height, raise/lower.
Seat back, backwards/forwards

Manual
Lumbar support, increase/decrease
Head restraint, raise/lower

To the original poster, on the Disco 2 electric seats, I thought the up/down arrows you descrive control the lumber support.
