Quantocks Blackdowns Brendons Somerset

Anyone know of any greenlaning routes on these Somerset hills?

Thanks for that, VERY informative response I suppose a map would be an idea, however I used to go across the Quantocks a few years back but I believe motor vehicles can no longer do it? Go on give us a clue....

I really hate fookers that come along and think they can just pick up some other fookers hard earned route what they've spent ages putting together, and just pinch the fooker for them selves without as much as a single "by ya leave"

I dont think yu will find hardly any greenlanes in the Quantocks Blackdowns Brendons area of Somerset. I only know of one - and thats 200metres long !

Nah there is a few but they is quite short & most is ORPA's

Thanks guys, such nice warm friendly helpfull people, and in a day and age when I thought they were all gone......

Used to drive from the coast end of the Quantocks all the way across to Lydeard Hill, I assume that is now a no go area?

I think thats where yu mite need a map.

No it's still there, that's why MHM only knows 1 lane in the area and all the one's I know are mainly ORPA's and quite short :doh: :doh:

Just moved to the bridgwater area from S Wale (Brecon Area)
With my Series 3. Just got it on the road so only managed 1 run on Sarn Helen from Neath to Banwen when it was opened.

I would love to hear of any local lanes on the Quantocks. It is up the road.

When I drove the Landy into bridgwater a few saturday,s ago I got a few waves from LR drivers so hoping for some help.

With the house move and a new job have not bought a map yet but I will.

Bonzo - i'm in WSM, and regularly pop out at the weekends. If yer interested next time the gang are out on another reccy i'll hit ya up ?

As for lanes - do some research - buy some OS maps at WHsmiths, and have a look. Most of them down here have been reclassified or graded. I cut my teeth on most of them when i started years ago, was a VERY steep learning curve
