pump problem

hello

i have just sold a tank pump/sender unit from a running 1.8 k series freelander, the car was running fine before i removed pump.

the chap who purchased it is claiming its not working ,

he said it runs for about 5 mins then stops , any ideas what it could be???

thats what i'm thinking, he'll send his old buggered one back,

that why i need to know if it could be sunk else i dont want to sell faulty items but then agai i dont want to buy faulty ones back

wot i have dun if i think someone is trying it on is to say "you send it back at your cost and I will credit you carriage and part in full if I find it defective".

Get them to send it back for testing at there own cost and offer to refurn if you find it faulty, Did you mark it? even if you didn't tell them you did to make sure they send you the correct one back.

will be adding bits to my listing from now on, i hate to think i have sold something that was not working but then again hate to be taken for a c***,

will see if he comes back to me now told him i will accept it back but will have it tested at his cost, maybe the idea of shelling more money out will put a stop to it.
