puma oe radio code entry help

I'm trying to enter the code into the radio and the manual states to use preset buttons 1234 to enter the code. Thats fine, code entered then it says 'to complete the entry the RND button must be pressed;. The RND button is preset button 3 and so just alters the 3rd digit in the code. I've tried hitting other buttons but then it goes into safe mode. Any ideas? Ta

I had the same problem. Instead of pressing RND, I pressed button 5 and it worked. Don't have that problem anymore as I replaced the unit with an Alpine which doesn't need a code entering.
