Pulsating egr valve actuator ?

Evening all , having just removed my egr valve which was supplied by jgs 4x4 (Who i can highly recommend !) I have fitted the bung to the other end of the pipe which was on the egr but now when its running the actuator is making all sorts of noises and pulsating , to the degree that you can feel it inside the landy ! Any Ideas ?????

did you bung the blue one?
also, better than bunging is disconnect the electrical connector on the egr control unit (where you bunged the blue pipe), this prevents any attempt at creating a vacuum to activate an egr that isnt present...the ecu will notice this and adjust accordingly...

Top man ! thanks for the advice , yes it was the blue one removed and bunged , will try disconnecting tomorrow and see whay happens !!

dont see how the egr controller can be working if its unplugged?

you must have a faulty component elsewhere if the engines running rough

The engine runs fine , the only prob is the actuator pulsing and vibrating , just been out in it again after linking pipes from air filter and servo and everything seems ok ? Does the pipe tothe air filter housing need to be connected or can i bung the t-piece off the servo pipe and then the end On the filter housing ?
