I have one on these on my Oz 1963 Series 2A cab chassis which I am re-furbishing. It's not going yet as it's been standing for a decade & the clutch & brake hydraulics are stuffed.
It has 2 levers. When I lifted the inspection panel, one (the big one closest to the passenger door) moves in-out & obviously meshes the (exposed) PTO & winch gears to presumably engage the thing. The other also moves in-out & operates something inside a box on top of the GB. What does that one do?
Can someone describe how to use the winch so I can determine its condition?
Does it un-wind mechanically? It's a very robust looking bugger with a winch drive unit the size of the diff in a family car!. I don't fancy grabbing the cable & pulling!
A web link would be nice.
