Need a bit of help, have to fit a new gasket to the PTO plate again!! Being the top plate there is another spacer with a gasket, the issue I have is with the 2 screws holding it on, anyone had t remote them before? if so is there a specific screwdriver or tool that you used?
Don't want to round them off anymore than they are, will post pic tomorrow.

Update, left the screws and fitted a new gasket but got another small leak.
So I've drained the box again need to fit a new gasket to the top cover of diff mechanism and diff lock switch so thought I could kill 2 birds with one stone.
As mentioned above the spacer/housing behind the pro plate has 2 screws as you can see, cannot get them to budge, tried WD40, heat and hammer but nothing and as the photos show all I have succeeded in doing is start to round them off.
Also the is a hole in the housing about the 10 o clock level, should that be sealed with rear gasket or is it to allow the flow of oil?
Any ideas for the screw removal or insights would be much appreciated.

A quick note, the screws are quite large even a PZ3 or PH3 head still seems slack if that helps.

Not had a problem removing those myself on my box or a mate's box. A hammer impact screw driver [ hit with hammer type not electric ] should do the job, they come with a number of different screw heads. Handy item in the tool box and not expensive.

Yes, was just thinking about one of them, I will have to invest in one.
Do you know where I would get replacement screws from? have a feeling I'm going to need some.
