Protect Or Not

Thinking about putting some diff/axel guards on the defender. Ik know this has been talked about many times, but which one's are the best. Some people swear by Southdown, other's QT. Some people will never fit them. What are your thoughts.

QT ones that bolt on like a rock slider instead of the round style ones, thats if you dont mind paying the extortionate price for them
the round ones are fine aslong as you clean inside them after offroading
