T'would be good, just a bit far to the north east from cornwall is all...

And I could do with it fixed asap cause it's a daily.

I thought the only difference was the width of the yokes / UJs?
How / why would they be different lengths?

The 300 engine is mounted further forward than the 200 so the props are different lengths. From memory the 300 Defender front prop is the same lengh as the 4 speed Range Rover. (But of course different UJs)

the g boxes on 90's 110's and defenders mount in the same place dunno about R380s but assume they are the same mabe different on a td5 or from a disco or rangie

Even as I was typing I thought I'm sure the 300 front prop is longer rather than shorter, so it couldn't be the engine position.

an LT77 and an R380 gearbox have, i believe, different props and transfer boxes. Thats one of the reasons why it aint easy to fit an R380 as a replacement for an LT77 gearbox

While I've still got this thread open, anyone know how easy changing oil pressure switch is?

And the thread size on wheel nuts?

dunno but i had hell an all problems on a customers 90, couldn't get the prop to fit and the we tried a later prop and it went right on(i didn't do the job i was just sourcing the bits)

do you work at a Land Rover main dealers or something G man?
