Afternoon All - Newbie question to follow
Will be picking up my Freelander the weekend. All seems fine with the VCO, but has done 98K, so will be wanting to replace when funds allow.
In the meantime, planning to remove the prop so not to cause any damage.
Found the thread as below, but just wondered if there are any other issues
https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/freelander-1-prop-removal.229586/
Is it just a case of removing the bolts front and rear on the propshafts and then releasing the brackets for the VCO and lower everything down?
Only intend it to be off for maximum of a month, so do I need to do anything to the now exposed ends front and rear?
Also read on a different thread that removing the prop, causes the Traction Control and ABS lights to come on. Anyone aware if that is the case.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Cheers
