Hi, Discovery 1, I’ve got a standard heavy load terrafirma 2” kit fitted with bf all terrain tyres and as expected the rear drive shaft with donut is rebelling against me. Having looked into it the output flange conversion at the back with the double uv prop seems to be the solution. My question is, do I need a spacer with the 2” lift and has anyone done this exact conversion successfully without incurring any vibration that could tell me the exact parts used. There is a kit at around 105 quid that includes a spacer and I’m leaning towards fitting it unless someone advises differently?

Welcome!
I'm thinking of doing the conversion for my D2 to get rid of the rubber doughnut. 105 pounds sounds about right for the whole kit.
From what I've read on other forums is that is a good idea to add the spacer to the conversion due to the 2" lift.

Hi and welcome!

If you can get one, you can use the rear prop and rear diff flange from a 200Tdi discovery, which will replace the prop and donut on the 300.
