propper cheeper diesel !!!!!!!

just found out an interestin fact that if you were to go and get a cheep second hand central heatin oil tank, and get an oil supplier (the same one you get heatin oil fi) to fill her up with ither fuieloil 10 or gasoil 10 (not sure whitch but theyl prob know what you mean), it is just the same as diesel that you get from the pumps and when you buy in bulk you can get over 30% knocked of the price or more

And fined a bob or two if you get found out.

Yup DOT here has a test strip they wipe on the end of your tail pipe....If the wrong color shows up its a nice fine and a trip to court

red doozul its called.. ah feed me traccy on it....an me rovers but theyre agricultural veehicules so mr customs mans ****ed....

Here you would be ****ed. if its on the blacktop it better not have the red diesel in her, Ag or not. Best not to get caught and act stupid if you do

Thanks, but I stay away from the red stuff unless its free from work It costs about the same at the pump here anyway. Kero is the way to go!

fuel oil IS different to red diesel! red diesle is a cheaper version of normal diesel sold cheaper to farmers...the colour is put in to show it is the cheaper stuff

Here we have off road (red) and low sulfur diesel. Price is usually only 10 cents different or so, but the off road (not meant for off roaders either) puts out alot more smoke. And yes I did mean kerosine, it keeps everything from gelling up when its cold.

Indeed, Kero is the way to go, why you think jetliners run on it!

Cut it with oil however as Kero on its own is too thin.

Kerosene is a non lubricative class C2 28sec burning oil. It is mostly used for oil fired central heating in pressure jet and vapourising burners. Gas oil (red diesel) is a lubricative oil in class D 32 sec. Derv (diesel engine road vehicles) also known as white diesel (for use in our cars) is the same as gas oil but without the dye.
Using kerosene in a diesel engine will eventually damage the injector pump, beacause it is a non- lubricant and also it burns at a higher temperature which causes it to burn the valves. Also the little man from the ministry will know when you are burning it because it smells different, even if you mix it with derv.
So, be very very careful what you do!
p.s. I'm not the little man from the ministry! Just a haulage contractor and OFTEC registered oil boiler engineer

Yes indeed, Kero would offer the pumps NO lubrication whatsoever.

Yup, but haulage contractor sounds better; maybe I will try and make that stick here ...... What are you usually hauling? I haul concrete and stone in the summer.....sometimes corn too. But I am not a owner...just an operator.
