Wondering if anyone can advise me, I viewed a freelander 2ltr TD yesterday and upon checking MOT history the prop shaft is missing. Is it worth buying and either fixing, driving it as is or should I walk away from sale?
Thank you for any help

It depends on several factors.
Do you need AWD?
If not then it should be OK if you like driving a Freelander.
They are nice to drive, but if you are at all bothered my MPG, then you should probably be looking for a smaller, lighter vehicle altogether.

Also depends on price and why the propshaft was taken off in the first place, but you can't always trust the reason given !!
I do not exaggerate when I say budget £1000 to fit a replacement shaft which allows for reconditioned propshaft and Viscous Coupler and a reconditioned IRD or Rear differential which may have been damaged prior to removal. If it needs IRD AND Rear differential then £1000 won't cover it.
Even doing it yourself cost will be £450 to £800 with reconditioned parts. You can buy second hand cheaper but consider why they have been removed !!!
