Prop shaft bolts

Afternoon all,
I'm replacing the UJ on the back of the front prop shaft and cant seem to get the prop to transfer box and prop to diff bolts off, my spanner just keeps slipping and i dont want to round the heads off. Tried heating them up with no joy. Any advice on this and has anyone else experienced this?

You might want to try posting your question in the more relevant section rather than the engines bit. Otherwise a good fitting 9/16th socket or one of the specialist prop nut tools. They usually come of easy enough in my experience.

there is a tool specially for it. it is a like along thin shaft with a socket with thin sides to get it around the nut. think i got mine from paddocks for about 15 quid well worth it
