problems with electrics

Hi all i have recently had a new a electric socket fitted to my towbar and ive been today to check it works with caravan,and it does but when i come to disconnect and set off home my clock wouldnt work or interior light or stereo...Ive just been back to garage and he said it as nothing to do with him fitting the new socket.we have checked the stereo fuse and all ok,any ideas what this could be please to save me from a hefty auto electrician bill!

I assume you have checked all the other fuses first?

ha ha no havnt checked that:doh: but hubby as just come home and checked them and yes 1 had blown.thanks for tip

Try fuse f14 the one for the interior lights ,when you disconnect it shuts down the radio too.
Iknow this because I disconnect f14 so I dont drain the battery when I park up and know I will be opening and closing the doors.
