problems starting on hot and cold.

Hey everyone, the problem I have with my 2.5l auto p38 is it doesn't always start first time hot or cold, it's usually the 3rd or 4th try, I have changed the glow plugs. I would rather ask on here first before i go to a garage just incase they try to rip me off, i can't think of what else it could be. any help would be much appreciated.

Dodgy fuel pump.

did you do your leek off pipes? how much fuel is in the tank?

yiddi i,ve had this problem since day 1 of rr ownership.like the lads have said there numerous things it can be goin from in tank fuel pump,leak off pipes,blocked fuel filter,dodgy plugs,timer relay,dodgy coolant sensor,dodgy starter motor,dodgy battery,dodgy no4 injector sensor,dodgy fuel injection pump,could also be the timings out.looks like your goin to be busy this afternoon.i,ve checked and replaced most of those things and the fooker still refuses to start first time,so for now i,ve given up to work on my disco.start with the simple/cheap things first.air bubbles in the clear pipe from the filter to the fip.
