My theory would be the DSP Amp or the BM54 module being dicky....

no RAVE manual sorry wish I had could see what this wire is trying to do if I had, yeh there very sensitive the L322 as I found out yesterday mind boggling stuff

Check all the connectors in the rear for green corrosion and missing pins. the pins corrode away.
