Hi all
I have someone comming over from england and he got Oziexplorer so i have send him some maps of Spain and Portugal but now he sends me the following email.±
Thanks again for the maps. I have them all loaded together with street maps of France, Italy and Switzerland. Everything displays fine, I have even put waypoints in for you and a friend in Spain.
But! I put it (my laptop) into my land Rover and plunged the antenna in but the position fix I got put me in the middle of the English Channel, not good!!! My other sat-nav program (Fugawi) is fine putting me in the right position. I have put the same settings(com port-parity-baude rate) Fugawi has into Ozi,so there should not be any problems, but as I say there is and I have run out of ideas to fix it. Have you any ideas what I have done wrong, or what I need to do to get the GPS fix to read at the right position?
My departure time is getting close and I really must get this sorted before I leave or I will be struggling for navigation.
I hope you can help me to sort this out.
Does anybody knows whats going wrong here?
