Hi there can anyone help me I have just bought a k reg disco 200tdi it is great off road but when it is on the road on every corner the back end slides out.

Check tyre pressures too maybe. Too low and they could roll onto the walls and slip out that way, too high and not all of the tread will be in contact with the ground.

or better still have a look at the rear radious arm bushes, if there gone you get about an inch of play and will make the car crab.

Not really sure as i dont really know much about 4wd but I know it is side on round da corners. Thanks lukesdisco

check the bars comming from the back axle to under the rear doors, theres bushes where they meet, if there fecked then thats yer prob.

Hi there thanks for the reply had a look today is it the straight bars these are poly bushed or the part under the rear floor that looks like a wishbone. Thanks

Are these the two bars.

Sorry lad that wern't very helpfull.I think the bars he means are mounted on back axle next to shocks ,straight about 2 foot 6 inch long with rubber bushes on end.

 Are you taking corners really fast?.You will loose the back end if you do.I had a bad experience on a roundabout this year.Went round it bit faster than usual and lost it .Luckily it was about half twelve at night so no cars around.Didn't crash but was a bit hair raising.I had my tyres pumped up a bit to high [trying. to get better m.p.g].Next day changed pressure back to 28 front 38 back.

Could be, stick it into difflock and try to spin up on loose terrain, wet grass or gravel or something, try to see if both wheels are spinning up at the same time at the same speed (gettin a mate to look might help lol)
