Problem with defender 90

Hello I need help!!!My defender is sick and I don't know what to do.I been few days ago In landrover(stratstone) and they say.. yours defender is fine,but I know isn't.When I start engine, power from my engine going down when try 1 and 2 gear,engine is noisy but my defender runing slow,some time is fine and I can fell the power from engine,but when is wrong my defender don't want run like normal.I change every filters,oil,but still is somthing wrong.Please Help.Sory about my language but I'm Polish and living in Slough from 4 years.If anybody can coming I will be very happy

Fuel cut off solenoid has bits of the pump in it. It doesn't open all the way all the time so you get this good car bad car thing. Take it out and clean it. If that works then you will be OK for a few hundred miles then it will go again and again and again. If it is this then you will need to replace the injector pump eventually.

Where abouts is the furl cut off solenoid.... ? symptoms sound like my landy

I had quite the same sounding problem on my works van (merc sprinter 313 cdi), where one minute there would be power and the next it ran like c***, the only way to cure it temperately was to turn it off and start it back up. In the end it turned out to be the turbo that was at fault, wether this was mucking up the ECU and sending it into "limp home mode" or the thing was just breaking up i don't know as i never find out. Though you don't say how old the truck is or the what engines in it, more than likely it's some thing simple like some thing blocking the fuel pick up in the tank or a tank full of s*** diesel.

hope you get to the bottem of this.

How can we help him if he WILL NOT tell us what engine he's got?

Gofish, if its a 300 or before its at the back of the pump its got an electrical lead going to it.

you can the eeenglish under standing adi???? what is this landy wot you have gotten??? no can help if we no know you landy model

Sorry guys.I'm under stress and forgot about this. The Mad Hat Man is right.I have Defender 90 Black LE. 2002R.I bought 2 months ago and gota just problem with this defender.Engine is TD5.Please help me!!!This is my first car.

adi, need ta know more....you say its losing power...is this normal driving? if u switch off and restart again, is it back to normal? does it feel ok until u feed in more throttle, and then lose power?

I been observed another thing.My defender is yerk when running at lower gear and my food is taken off from accelerator pedal.Most of time is running bad and I can fell this,engine is noisy and when start running this sound from engine is bigest but car running slow.
