Problem please help!!

HELP!!

guys just bought a range rover sport 2.7tdv6HSE on a 05 plate and its got a problem where it doesnt start at all??

Its at land rover stratstone been connected upto their various diagnosis machines and from what ive been told it thinks its starting but obviously its not any suggestions what this might be?? been told its not starter motor it had battery and alternator replaced weekend before.

call me dumb but if there is a starter relay fitted to this model-could be faulty or ignition switch issue as well

Am hoping they have checked those issues!? they have technical support involved and still no further forward

If I was in that position I'd have a wiring diagram see how it is linked then trace it

I had a P38 (petrol) that woldnt start. Main dealer said there were no faults reported on diagnostice.

Turned out to be a faulty crank shaft sensor. A clue can be when you crank the engine the rev counter stays still as it also takes signal from the sensor. But that was on a P38 petrol!

I am really p'd off by these STEALERs! Is it not about time that they are fined if they do not find the fault within a couple of hours - lets say 2 hrs max after that its down to them - there is no excuse they have the kit and the back-up - I am willing to put my last "two bob" on the fact that they would find the fault and fix it!!!!!

problem fixed it was a loose connection to the cjb unit its now secure and starting. thanks for the pointers guys will soon get some pics up shortly sold my gorgeous dark grey p38 in march been desperate to get another but couldnt find a good un!? so fancied a sport and WOW!! its a some piece of kit when it works haha!!
