Problem loading T4 onto laptop

Hi can any one give me any help ??
I've managed to get the T4 discs
and loaded them on my laptop
but the programe won't run , after
installation I get a message " RDS 7
successfully loaded" and the shortcut
is displayed but when I double click
it another message " shortcut missing
do you want to delete T4" is displayed
iv also tried it on another lap top with xp
pro and used different discs and still had
no luck .
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
