problem freelander

Hi. I have a 2004 Freelander td4. Today I noticed the digits on the time clock had disappeared but the back light was on. After turning the car off I could not start it. The radio. Interior light and key fob have also stoped working. I have replaced batterys in both key fobs but don't seem to be able to synchronize them . The car was driving fine before switching off. Any help would be very greatly appreciated. Many thanks Lee
