I am possibly going to view a td5 for the second time tomorrow (weather permitting). I have already been to see it earlier in the week but by the time I got there it was getting too dark to have a good look round so I took it for a test drive which seemed sound enough barring a squeak from the n/s rear wheel but this should be sorted by the seller.
My question is what are the main points to look out for? I tried doing a search but couldnt find anything. I have noticed in a couple of threads that I should look for rust in the boot floor and arches and check the top hose for pressure when cold and again when hot. Also any thoughts on what could be the cause of the squeal.
