Ok, at present looking for a new utility and have been hearing of XS models being around for £21k + vat with the NFU discount. Anyone know where the deals are?

Thanks for the constructive comment. I guess you have never had the pleasure of looking for a NEW Land Rover?

and strangely, most dealerships don't list Defender prices - they direct you to another website...guess where??????

I can get ya one for £22k Plus my £6k commission of course. Meet me at the Main stealers (AKA Stratsones Yeovil) & I'll introduce you to a guy who can do you a good deal.

I'll require cash up front before the intro Obviously,,,, :D

Ok, here is the deal. I have been to the local shop and know the price. I am a member of NFU so qualify for the extra 5% disc. BUT, its still coming out at nearer £23k+vat.

I know a couple of guys, who know someone else who know someone else etc, who got them at £21k+vat. These were ordered and bought in from away and the guys i know dont seem to know much more. Yes, i know big fat help!

I know the model, colour and extras i want so would order over the phone, so that bit would be easy if the dealer was miles away.

Hence, my origional question should have been, "does anyone know of dealerships selling these 110's at £21k+vat?"

Which 110? Theres few to choose from

It's no different to any other main dealer set up. You go in there and haggle. And if you don't get what you want you go somewhere else.

No mate, thats a station wagon.

Edit, thats the one custom and excise will do you for! It is registered as a utility (van) due to the £200 per year road tax, but clearly has windows in the back, and they are calling it a "mini bus". Only has 5 seats as standard, but ill bet if you enquired they will offer another 2 in the back!

A big no-no now as C & E are clamping down on commercials running with seats in the back. It is no longer even an option (from main dealer) to have the rear seats anchors fitted in a utility.

I'm afraid you may be wasting your time on here, as most of us here are struggling to prevent our land rovers disolving into dust and the price of a new one may as well be £23 million, but good luck in your search.

Ormondstreet ,i agree with you on this one ! if i had the ability to spend 21k i wudnt be mithered about a grand here and there ,like argueing over the price of a pint !

If i had 21K + VAT to spend on a new car the last thing i would look at would be a land rover! I guess some mug has to buy them new though to give us our play things!
