Landy Members,

So we may have a move to Tunisia later this year and are strongly considering taking our '04 Disco with us. As our daily driver, I invest a fair amount of time and effort in preventative repairs.

Both DIY and independent repairs are more easily completed in CZ - and I'm setting out a plan in advance of the move. Here are some questions:
- Cooling system: Coolant (pink OEM) was last changed in '15 along with one or more hoses (need to check the receipts from the prior owner). I don't recall seeing a radiator or water pump replacement and assume they're original (no issues). OPINION: Should I run to failure, or preventatively replace the radiator and water pump? Parts - I don't typically use LR Branded parts, but try for OEM / mid-range options. Should I spring for LR Brand on the water pump / radiator?
- Intake service: If / when I do the cooling system service, I'll also plan to clean the intercooler, replace the intake hoses, re-delete the EGR (thanks emissions testing), and replace the manifold depression valve (I'm seeing a fair amount of oil on the pressurized side of the intake system). Any other suggestions?

I just had a transmission line fail (apparently quite common) - and that's got me wondering about other common failure points. I've addressed many (injector harness, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, suspension bags, etc) - but am always looking to avoid an on-road fail.

Thanks, in advance, for the advice / opinions.
