Freelander 1 Preheater

I allways try to use preheaters on my cars at winter, cause we have cold winters here in Norway. Now I have put one in to my FL1 Td4, its with a sirculation pump, and then I would like to know what way the coolant are floowing. I put it on the 19mm hose that goes from the square "thing" under by the oilfilter, is it an oilcooler? anyway, anyone know what way the coolant flow here? The hose goes in to a metal pipe that goes to the back of engine, not exactly sure where.
