Yes sorry, I wasn't very clear as I was online on my phone! Trewy's way IS the correct way. However, my particular Landy would not bleed up that way, but does every time I do it nearest to master cylinder first. Don't know why, nothings wrong with brakes, pretty much all new lines calipers etc, and can't fault braking performance. Just one of those thingys!

So, another day of pumping and 2L of fluid through the system and I'm guessing that it's pretty certain that the master cylinder is shot. At least the pipes have been nicely flushed..!

Anyone in Dorset got a spare late IIa master cylinder?

my old doris was of great help back in the day,

helped me no end till No.1 son got old enough,
now he`s older than most on here,
