Had a bit of precious cargo behind the 110 last weekend. 50th has just been restored and looks absolutely stunning. Official pictures will follow in good time but I love this picture, just wish I'd have bought a 50th years ago when I had the chance.

I walked away from one just over 5 years ago because "it looked a bit rough for £7k" some are making £40K now without rebuilds....
The chap who did the refurb on this told us of one that has been found in a barn untouched for 15 years after it's owner died. Just 2K miles on the clock!

+1
Both vehicles look tremendous! :D

+2 Able looking trailer too! :)

I did broadly similar with a very solid series 1, in about 1987. I thought the 850 quid or whatever it was was a bit too much, he wouldnt budge, so I walked away! :(

That trailer is awesome! we rent all our trailers from a place near Leyland. Rates are very reasonable and trailers are always in A1 nick.
We have an Ifor Williams LM which is a good all rounder but go to these guys when I need something specific

I sometimes tow vehicles on my Ifor flatbed, it is fine, no alarms! But that is the proper job for vehicle towing, proper low loader. :)

Once towed a series from Brum to Surrey on 14ft flatbed, it was fine, but the little wheels underneath dont give anything like the stability on the road that the car transporter has!

My Ifor cattle float sits between the wheels, 16inch wheels with Maxmiler low pros. That is the motorway wheel option, comes with landrover tyres as well. Handles like a dream, scarcely know it is there! :)
