Disco 2 Pre-purchase checks

going to look at a D2 and would like a heads up on pre-purchase checks,is it the same as D1's Like rust rust and ummmm rust ,I've had a D1 for about 3 years it's a heavily moded one and now I'm doing more miles would like a bit to comfort so any advice would be good.

check all the UJ's on the front and back props.

beside the chassis/rust check which is not so bad as on the D1s put ignition on and carefully watch the warning lights(especially the ABS related ones) on self test, all should come on then go out in few seconds according to the car's equipment, so knowing all the enhancements(e.g. SLS, ACE) make sure the warnings are working cos there are many cases when the warnings are ''blanked'' to hide a current fault of a system, see attachment
