just before i replaced my 19j td with a 200tdi i rebuilt the engine in the hope of getting the thing going again. it worked fine for 5 miles and an hour ticking over outside my house while i did the last bits for the mot. then the head gave up and turned my nice quiet diesel into a 3 cylinder chugger.
in the rebuild a full set of britpart std pistons went in costing £140 so if any one would like them for there projects or any other bits of the engine I dont need feel free to make an offer. I dont expect anything near the purchase price im not silly. still got the invoice somewhere 2
would swap for a defender 200tdi airfilter mount as they are like rocking horse poo
