On my left hand drive 2004 TD4, one of the power steering hoses appears to have deformed so as to be almost flat instead of being tubular.
The steering weight feels normal and I haven't experienced any other problems.
Any ideas what could have caused this and is it something I should be worried about?

I'd attach a photo if someone could tell me how!!

No need to post a picture, as it's been seen before, more than once. It's normal for it to be flat, as they are made that way. I think the flat hose is there to reduce pump noise or pulsating of the fluid.

Thanks for the replies and advice. If someone could explain how to post a photo it would be helpful with my next post.

On the bottom of the page, there's an upload file button. Click on that then search your device for the file you want to post. It'll upload and allow you to post your reply when it's done. You'll get the option to post a full image, or just a thumbnail, which is the defaut option.

Cheer Nodge. I've tried that, without sucess. I must be doing something wrong. I'll try again. 20171111_141219.jpg
