Broke down. She just cut out and wouldn't fire at all. Opened the bonnet and there was power steering fluid all over the the back of the passenger side headlight and the "spark generator"? It leads to the dizzy cap. Well the fluid had gone all over the cable losing contact so no spark. Changing filler bottle but what could be causing it ti spray out? Or is it just a case of the bottle has a leak and the pressurized system will cause it to spray out.

No idea mate. Only thing it can be is hose or seal has blown. Mine constantly leaks. Even with a reconditioned box on but as far as I know there isn't enough pressure in the power steering to cause an explosion of fluid everywhere. Maybe a hose is blocked and had backed up causing pressure.

I would check the pipes I doubt the pressure would be that great in the bottle itself:confused: unless its being blown by the fan

Yea, it's the seals. Put a reconditioned box on an seals still leak. Put that extra extrà thick Lucas oil in it that is also meant to swell seals still leaks. Slowed down but still leaves a no so pretty mess on the road. Ha
