Potentiometer

Can any recommend suitable potentiometer for P38 blend motor.
Tested the one I took off Saturday and it runs with a battery but can't get any reading through the potentiometer wires. If easy enough to change thought might have a go then I've got a spare

I bought a bunch of these

They don't line up to put the great back in the right place so the 2 store don't print to eachother when you come to put it back together
I think the actual motor was knackered on mine though, so wasn't producing the correct feedback

Just found out why couldn't get a reading through potentiometer. Opened up and guess what, there's no bloody potentiometer in it.

That's probably why is has never worked

Motor runs so potentiometer and the little black gear and should have a good spare. Did have one in my parts box in shed. Will have a search when rain stops

There's some that last longer than others and some that are set 90 degrees out - these are the ones i got, they do the same job but the arrows don't line up

Found the old one in shed I took off ages ago. So now we have the technology we can rebuild it.
As a note the one with no potentiometer which I fitted to replace the shed one came from someone in Wales. Hasn't there just been some thing on forum about a dodgy supplier in Wales

there has, but i'm not sure what is to be gained from taking a pot out, you'll still get the book symbol either way

No I'll get a new pot it's the gear for pot I need. It's missing on the one with pot
