After everything arranged for repairs, MoT and SORN, not a word back from Landyfox!
Could it have been too much trouble to pick up a phone??
However, not to worry, the offer will still be there if anyone else needs it

Think I saw something about this college garage workshop on bbc look north about a year or so ago. I'd be up for using them if I lived in the area

It's a local initiative where youngsters are trained in motor mechanical stuff, and have some of the best tutors around!
I direct everyone I know to them, as they have to be better than the main stealers!
They swapped my chassis over for a galv one, and I would and do trust them with anything.
The project even service my gen-sets because they have all the electronic diagnostics stuff, and know how to use it!
Northumbria Youth Action is a Registered Charity and has recently got it's licence as an MoT testing station (up to Class 5 ... I think)
