Possibly fuel pump problem?

Hi all, looking for some advice.
Driven my 02 freelander round the corner only for it to start juddering when accelerating pulled over when could for it to cut out.
Have had the RAC out who are stumped at the problem - suggested something electrical as it’s not picking up the engine management on his computer (although said this could be a glitch due to age of car) or possible fuel pump / fuel pump connector problem.
Anyone had a similar problem?

Can you hear both electric fuel pumps running?

I’ve looked at the one in the tank can’t hear anything from it. Getting 6.7 volts to it does that sound right?
