Right, forgive me for asking what is possibly a stupid question, but how many hoses should the turbo vent filter be connected to on a td4?

Just the one, the filter hangs from a hose at the back of the engine but without any hose at the bottom end

It should have one hose connected to it, directly from the Boost Control Solenoid. The other end should go straight to atmosphere.

Good, thats what I thought. Mine had a small piece of hose on the bottom only 10mm long, so I was just checking. The Haynes manual said to disconnect the hoses attached to it so was guessing it was just a typo, but thought I would check.

Possibly a daft question.
