Just had the fuzz out, about a week ago i found a guy near my bobtail when i approached him he said he was looking for his dog, ive just got home to find my neighbour had called the fuzz out as someone was trying to get inside it and it sounds like its the same guy i came across last week, he was seen driving off in a white / silver astra van with two other lads.
Sorry no reg details as yet, im off work now for a few days so i think its gonna be time to start a stakeout and see if they come back.
 
Nice that you have an observant neighbour.

White/silver astra van - sounds like gypos to me. Would be nice for you to catch them at it. Remember, only use reasonable force, if you know what I mean :mil36:
 
Reasonable force is the cricket bat by the door and the biggest kitchen blade i can get my hand on in a rush.

Im lucky ive got really good neighbour we look out for each other all the time. Plus his missus is well fit which he wont mind me saying.

To stay within the law make sure you have a cricket ball in your house!

I you have a bat only it will be classed as a weapon, but if you have a ball aswell it's a piece of sporting equipment that happen to be to hand when the thieving pikeys threatened you!

Well just had a suprise visit from the police to say that they have arrested 2 guys in connection with vehicle theft when they were arrested one had a digi camera with him and when they looked through the pics they found several shots of my Bobtail, aswell as other vehicles.
By the sounds of things the discription ive given of the guy i saw near my Bobtail matches the discription of one of the guys aressted so for once a result, but the cop wouldn't give me any more details of where or how they were caught.

Lets hope they have enough evidence to charge the bastids and that it results in missing vehicles being re-united with their owners.:(
 
Thats excellent news.

Sadly I guess they wont have enough evidence to charge with attempt theft of your bobtail. But hopefully they will charge him with the offences he was arrested for.
 
Just thinking yesterday what I'd do if I won the euro lottery and decided I'd buy a defender and stake it out in different areas with surveillance and just make it a really satisfying hobby catching t##ts.
