first of all hello to all.....
i have a running problem with 110.
the engine keeps cutting out with no pattern other than, once its warm it cuts out, leave it a couple of minutes it will start again, then cut out... so i am led to think along the fuel delivery.
I have changed the filter, lifter pump and also bled the system according to the Haynes manual... i get a steady flow of fuel coming from the 19j IP (bleed screw)
and the problem persists, i have maticiously scanned the fuel lines for breaks but it all looks fine.
so before i splash out on changing the IP, has any one an idea of something else that could cause this?
*note* i have tested the stop solenoid, it opens and closes with 12v faultles, there is no drop in voltage to the stop solenoid when the engine cuts out.

thank you in advance for any help, look forward to hear what you have to say:)

It may be **** on the end of the tank pick up pipe, it blocks due to the suction of the lift pump then stopping the engine, then as engine has stopped so has suction and the rubbish falls away fro the pipe until you next start it.

Remove the stop solenoid and remove the spring and little rubber seal then refit solenoid and see if it happens again this will eliminate the solenoid totally.

If the engine now runs fine with no guts in the solenoid you have either a dodgy solenoid or a dodgy solenoid power supply.

I think we have found the problem...

Air was getting in to the pump - from the turbo diaphragm. Yet to remove the diaphragm, but disconnecting and sealing off the pipe to the turbo produced no change in performance, other than it didn't cut out and didn' fill the pump up with air. :)
