yarp, 1-4 going away from you on the drivers side and then 5 - 8 going away from you on the passenger side as you stand facing the car, that where mine are anyway !:)

Get a rubber mallet or use the side of your fist to thump the cat on that side. If it sounds like a can of nails or gravel the cat inside will have collapsed and the bank expel the gasses. Making for some poor running.

Do it when the engine is cold obvs if you do it when the engine is hot you'll leave your skin on the cat

I am fairly certain my cats blocked at one point when i was getting a lot of engine braking and MIL flashing, i put some cataclean through it and wrung it's neck up and down the motorway which seemed to clear that as I drove it like a woosey

This may be of interest - pointing to MAF, downstream o2 sensor doesn't do anything as far as engine running or trims, it just checks the CAT.

I'm not sure if you disconnect the MAF it will run in a limp mode but you could try.
i cleaned my maf using the specific MAF cleaner as opposed to carb cleaner, i also changed it for a new one that i didn't need to do as well - i have changed a lot of my range rover, it is the Trigger's broom equivalent.

According to Saint the cylinders are from sitting in driver's seat
LH RH
1 2
3 4
5 6
7 8

LH is Bank 1
RH is Bank 2

Have give the cats a tap with the side of my hand and they rattle bank 1 rattles worse.

Since tapping the one on bank 1 it know rattles while driving think I might have disrupted it .

What are the thoughts on decatting it and having it mapped in just out of curiosity know it won’t pass mot and has any one on here done it any info would be appreciated.
