just a word,
good day gents,i have been planing to fix my handbrake light since 2 months,i took it to a LR electrical and he started to moan about removing the entire center console, and he doesn't have a replacement switch, and said maybe it is the wire going to the dash, bla bla bla bla.....
plus that he wanted to charge me 60$ for a 10 min job.
So thanks to this lovely form and lovely spirits and gents here,i did my search and read rave, when i went home,i started the 10 min job that turned into a mission, after removing the center console and switch pack,i looked down and found the plug going to the handbrake switch disconnected.the handbrake switch have two plugs one on the side and one facing down, the down one was unplugged, and my fat fingers had a bad time reching for it and pluging it back, after 1 hour of fiddeling and cursing I MANAGED TO PLUG IT BACK,:D.and put the ignition in pos 2 and what u know,i have the light on the dash, yipiiiiiiii.
I love the handbrake light on the dash,at least now i know if the handbrake is applied or not.
Keep up with the help gents, regards
George
