Poor Starting 2.5 DSE : Cheap Fix

Just for info.
1997 2.5 DSE was a poor starter. Several heat ups and lengthy turnover needed.
Replaced glow plugs & battery. No change.
For no special reason I changed the ignityion relay ( 15): she's starting first twitch every time.
Try this cheap fix first.

I cant bloody believe it I have spent ages and ages trying to sort this problem out I have even just disconnected the hot start fix and it is still starting on the button I hope this lasts many many thanks TAKdriver: )

Delighted it has worked !! I just did it for no special reason ( I was looking forthe glow plugs relay) and it just keeps starting first tweak ! I could have saved myself days of work on this.
Hope it helps others.

Have a similar problem. Vehicle will start first time when cold but when hot turns over for a few times. What connection has the ign relay have to this problem??

Haven't examined the Rave/electrics : I don't care !! It works.
