Poor radio reception

Hello again,

On my P38, on my radio the cd and tape player sounds good, but when I switch it to the radio the sound is up and down? Like its loosing signal then picking it back up.

Does anyone know of a cause for this as its starting to annoy me?

do you have an aerial or the heated rear screen used?

No aerial so imagin its on one of the windows some were, not sure if it in the side or rear one?

yep the wires foir the rear demister are used as an aerial.Check that works and all the wires to it are intact and in good nick.

Ive only just had the rear window replaced as it didnt work to well at demisting before and the radio was the same before an after the replacement.

ok thanks, i'll have to have a check, do you no if the is an amplifier on the aerial anywere?

Not sure on p38 ill have a butchers at me exploded drawing of a classic at some point-think the radio is one of the things they didnt change too much.
