polybush kits

how hard are they to fit and is there a big improvement

a lot easier than getting the old ones out and no.
plus, if you fit them, you'll be doing it again in less than a year.
stick to OE standard bushes.

Polybushes are a hard injection moulded block of the stuff they make washing up bowls out of. They are dirt cheap to make, and can be sold with a huge mark-up, as a 'performance' part, becouse by taking out the complience of the standard bush, they make the suspension 'firmer'..... but by taking away the complience of the expensively developed and expensive to make metalastic rubber bush, they take away the thing that 'gives' when stuff bends or shakes, so stuff shakes or breaks..... often both.
Save your money, but the OE rubber bushes, and apply the little extra effort to fit them, cos a) you wont have to do it again in a hurry, b) you'll have a smoother ride, c) you shouldn't have anything that wouldn't otherwise fauil on you break, becouse a poly-bush simply doesn't do what a complience bush is supposed to.

well, i fitted them to mine 5 years and 60000 miles ago and i aint had no probs yet. and yes i do have the oversize big wheels that people on here dont seem to like to put a bit more stress on em and they still aint failed.

ive put 9.5x20 on mine and it rides better than with "16 wheels i just want to get rid of the usual p38 wobbles

i put 22s on mine, stuck the bushes on along with bilsteins all round including the steering damper and it drives bang on, if your anywhere near mablethorpe your welcome to have a little blast in it. my mate has a standard one on 16s and he drove mine and is now buying all the same parts to fit to his, so i would say get em bought.

i live in essex mate but thanks for the offer. i put a brand new set of stormer alloys on last saturday but changed them yesterday for anteras but if i saw a set of "22s cheap enough i might be tempted
