anyone know what the plug in the boot safe/box in every freelander i have seen is for ???

also on my 54 reg freelander i have a plug hanging just by fuse box, every thing seems to work that i have buttons ,switches for
any info on that one to
would add pic but dont know how:doh:

mines the commercial too, but I have a couple of things that some but not all other commercials didn't seem to have,auto gearbox, speakers behind trim in boot, passenger air bag, alloy wheels, but didn't have heavy duty dog guard fitted to rear door.

Also, my "special vehicles" badges aren't the usual ones, but are a rectangular aluminium cast plate.

traced it back to supplying dealer, and that's just the way it was, 53 plate pre-facelift.
 
I have taken my special vehicle badges off before they get knicked, apparently go for £40 on ebay. I am going to replace them with the stickers instead.
