Not gonna start a whole new thread and forgive me if it's obvious but I'm on my phone and limited as to what I can see. How does one go about making oneself available for LZIR? Figured I should give something back to the community that has helped me many a time

Bout time, I've been covering most of Scotland for years myself!

Read LZIR everything you need to know post #1 and post what's asked on the thread :rolleyes:

Basically

  • An approximate location
So we have you in a rough location eg "Luton" or if an area of a city say "Docklands"
  • Diagnostic kit
if you have it and models it covers eg. Hawkeye unlocked discovery TD5, Generic code reader.
  • Towing,Recovery,Trailer
Everything from a tow rope to a full recovery vehicle counts.
  • Tools
Basic hand tools up to a fully equipped workshop- it all counts.
  • parts availability
Local knowledge of fair suppliers, sheds full of rare S1 parts etc

PM me and MHM your contact number.....PM the whole thing if you like cause you is speshul :p

jebus, imagine getting stuck and needing wolf to come out.. i'm imagining that recent recovery crane called in to get the first recovery crane that fell in the river .

Thanks to everyone who tried to come get me! I appreciate everything you all done & the sense of community you all have. I won't be making that mistake anytime soon again. A big thanks to the man in the defender with the winch that rescued me who so happens to be a landyzone member. You never said your name but whoever you are thanks you so much. Lesson learned, Thanks guys!
